I love bulldogs, I have bulldogs and when I found this sign I thought I had died and gone to heaven. It is a very large tin sign in fantastic condition. It is all original, un-retouched and dates to the 1940s. I have been told that it is a Firestone sign, a Mack Truck sign and a Freedom gas sign. I don’t know which one. I do have a small bulldog topper that was the emblem of Freedom Gas in the 1920s and 1930s, so maybe? We moved to a new home with an open plan and not much wall space so sadly my bully boy needs a new home. I have taken his picture in many different lights, in sun, shadow and indoors in a dark room.
