My dad was one of the original computer programmers from the 1960s into the 1970s and is now 90. He was a contract worker for IBM, Jet Propulsion, SIAC, and many others. During the 1960s, he received small gifts for his office but doesn’t remember where he got this sign from except that it was either IBM or Jet Propulsion. Apparently, this is one of the very first original Murphy’s Law in print from the 1960s.
