This is a part of a Porsche dealership sign. This dates from the 1970s. When Porsche updated there dealer signs in the 80s the old signs were supposed to be cut up and destroyed. This is the Porsche script section of the original sign. It was saved by a Porsche technician at the time at the Pennsylvania Porsche store he worked at. I had it encased in a wooden box that can be backlit for my showroom. The wood stain is similar to a lot of the paneling used in Porsche dealers in the 1970s.
